Webwords will close down in December 2008

Following a comprehensive review into the sustainability of webwords it has been decided that, unfortunately, webwords will not be sustainable in the future.

From December 2006, webwords will become a static reference site and no new samples will be added and there will be no development of the site.

Webwords will continue to be available for access until the 31st December 2008, however, there can be no guarantee of continued service until this date as there may be insufficient funds to rectify any major system failure.

It is a regrettable decision but the very small number of users and the lack of available funds made it unavoidable.
